History

The Diamond Jewelry Factory is a family owned and operated business that offers a level of customer service that surpasses all competition in the industry. Since the opening of the store, there has always been a familiar face to greet you when you walk through the door.

The Diamond Jewelry Factory was established in 1975 as one of the first independent jewelry stores to manufacture and repair fine jewelry on the premises. Today, The Diamond Jewelry Factory, located in Houston, Texas, U.S.A., is one of the largest manufacturers of fine jewelry sold directly to the public.

We stock a large selection of loose diamonds in an assortment of sizes and shapes, purchased directly from cutters, in Belgium, Israel and New York. In addition to selling designer brand jewelry and providing repair services, The Diamond Jewelry Factory does a vast amount of custom designed work.

Some of our customers have included Earl Campbell, Warren Moon, Luis Gonzalez, Moses Malone, Ginger Rogers, Debbie Reynolds and ZZ Top. The Diamond Jewelry Factory has been the "official jewelers" to the Houston Oilers, Derrick Dolls, Houston Gamblers and currently the Houston Texans Cheerleaders. We have also designed jewelry for major league baseball players on almost every National League team.

Over the years our product lines have expanded to include fabulous awards for special presentations. We have made the awards for the Florida Marlins - 1st franchise no-hitter, pitched by Al Leiter and custom made the jewelry and awards for Hall of Famer - Andre Dawson's retirement ceremony.

The Diamond Jewelry Factory does not sell over the Internet. We believe that the purchase of fine jewelry can only be experienced first hand. We encourage you to browse this site, then come by our store and experience for yourself that which sets us apart from all others.

Community

The Diamond Jewelry Factory is committed to donating 3% of their annual gross sales to help various local charities. We have made major contributions both in custom designed jewelry as well as monetary donations to: M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, Children's Miracle Network, Ronald McDonald House of Houston, Be An Angel Fund @ T. H. Rogers. Since 1975 we have supported literally scores of other charities.

We are also committed to personal involvement within the community. Phil Finnerman currently maintains a seat on the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish-Foundation of the Texas Gulf Coast.

We are committed to offering high-quality diamonds, sourced from the world’s largest and best suppliers. As responsible citizens and jewelry merchants, we share the public’s concern regarding conflict diamonds. We only purchase our diamonds through respected, well-established, legal channels.

We support the efforts of the Diamond Council and any industry initiatives that prevent the trade of diamonds from war-torn areas. We are encouraged by recent actions on this front like the United Nations Security Council approval of Sierra Leone's diamond certification plan and will continue to work with our industry to find the best way to enforce this.
